Adams, 38, checked in at the practice fields surrounding Gilette Stadium to say hi to viewers in the morning.

“Okay, we’re at Patriots camp,” she said in an Instagram Story.

“Home sweet home for me, it’s been a while.

Adams then revealed that he would later interview Patriots coach Jerod Mayo and ask them to send him suggested questions.

The NFL host was scheduled spend just one day in New England.

She planned to make a stop at the Philadelphia Eagles camp on Tuesday before heading north to visit the New York Jets the next day.

His itinerary also included the Buffalo Bills, Washington Commanders, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos.

Adams asked Mayo if he had heard from former Patriots coach Bill Belichick since taking his job.

And the former NFL linebacker admitted it was a “difficult” question to answer.

“We didn’t have much communication,” he said.

Kay Adams’ shocked reaction after NFL star Deommodore Lenoir made ‘truly crazy’ revelation about year-old superstition

“And honestly, for me, my focus is the players.

“I learned a lot from Bill, honestly.

“Xs and Os and also structuring practices and things like that.

“But it’s a different time, it’s a different era and I hope we can have the same success.”

Meanwhile, Belichick is preparing for his first season without working as an NFL coach since 1975.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan recently revealed that he invited the legendary Patriots boss to join his staff after he left Foxboro – but was turned down.

“Yeah, I threw it away for him,” Shanahan revealed.

“I can’t believe he’s not coaching a team right now.

“I know what I would do if I owned it, so this shocks me, and the last thing you want to do is insult someone like Bill Belichick.

“But I know he loves ball in its simplest form, so I threw everything at him, whatever he wanted to do.

“I was like, ‘Would you be interested?’

“And he was very kind and appreciative, but politely declined.”
