In May, Jason announced that he had signed a multi-year deal with ESPN to become a member of the Monday Night Countdown team.

Despite this, he remained a regular fixture at the Eagles’ training facility this year.

“He was in the building maybe more than a lot of players this offseason,” Eagles tackle Lane Johnson recently told Kay Adams on her FanDuel TV show, Up And Adams.

“I think he was seeking people’s advice and opinions about his future.

“He was in the building a lot.”

It has now been revealed that at some point, the Eagles even tried to offer Jason a job in their scouting department.

“I think Jason would be great at anything in football. I think he would be an excellent evaluator,” general manager Howie Roseman said. said to Adams.

“I tried to recruit him to work for me too because he can evaluate players.”

What’s more, it turns out that Jason’s advice on players has been sought before.

“When we were in that draft, I gave him a couple of centers that we really liked and he said, ‘I like Cam Jurgens,’” Roseman recalled.

And in 2022, the Eagles ended up drafting Jurgens – Jason’s heir apparent – in the second round.

But it appears Jason’s options, should he choose to return to Philadelphia, may not be limited to scouting.

Asked if he would accept the former center on his coaching staff, coach Nick Sirianni told Adams: “Jason Kelce can have room for anything he wants to do on this football team.

“I love him. I’m going to miss him so much and what a good leader he was and getting everyone on the same page and motivating.”

If Jason chose to become a coach, he wouldn’t have to worry about finding a new setup for himself in the building, as Johnson previously revealed he already has a locker in the coach’s locker room.

‘It was a short retirement!’

Jason Kelce didn’t stay retired from the NFL for long.

The former Philadelphia Eagles forward opted out after the 2023 season.

But he will be part of ESPN’s Monday Night Football coverage in 2024.

Kelce will appear on Monday Night Countdown from 6pm to 8pm ET each week, as well as during the halftime show.

“It turns out it was a short retirement!” he joked.

“ESPN was a consistent presence in our home growing up and the network helped shape who I am and my love for all sports.

“Appearing now on the same screen is a full circle moment.

“And I want to say it’s Monday Night Football! And I’m ready to play football.”

Regardless of what the future may hold, Jason has plenty to keep him busy in the meantime.

Along with his role at ESPN, he also co-hosts the New Heights podcast along with his brother and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis.

They are also co-investors in an independent light beer brand, Garage Beers.

The Kelce brothers too recently collaborated with General Mills to create your own cereal blend.

Your custom mix includes Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms and Reese’s Puffs.

Recently, Jason also starred in a commercial for coal company Kingsford alongside fellow NFL veteran Vince Wilfork.

And as if all of his business ventures weren’t enough to keep him busy, Jason also spent much of his summer traveling.

Jason, his wife Kylie and Travis went to France for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Shortly after, Jason and Kylie headed to London, where they joined Travis to watch his partner and pop sensation Taylor Swift in action on her Era’s Tour.

After the Paris Olympics began, Jason and Kylie returned to France to cheer on Team USA.
