The Kansas City Chiefs are celebrating that their star defender was chosen as one of the league’s best.
Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones has been named the No. 1 DT in the new Madden video game.

Jones was rated a 97 overall player in Madden NFL 25, the highest-rated defensive tackle in the game, and the Chiefs celebrated the selection with an X post.
“DT with the best rating in the league. This is our CEO,” the Chiefs wrote.
Jones had a stellar season in 2023, recording 10.5 sacks and 29 quarterback hits.
He was named to the Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro following the season.
Jones received a huge contract extension in the offseason after back-to-back Super Bowl wins with the Chiefs.
He signed a five-year contract worth $158.75 million, with $101 million guaranteed.
Jones was the top-rated DT by a good margin, with Dexter Lawrence of the New York Giants and Quinnen Williams of the New York Jets next.

Madden is slowly releasing its player ratings for the newest edition of the game, with wide receiver ratings being recently announced.
Former Chief and current Miami Dolphin Tyreek Hill was named the top wide receiver with a 99 overall rating.
Justin Jefferson was right behind Hill with a 98 overall rating.
