CHICAGO Bears fans reacted with joy to the news that DJ Moore signed a new four-year contract extension.
Moore and the Bears agreed to a $110 million extension that runs through the 2029 NFL season.
Of this US$110 million, US$86 million is guaranteed for the player.
The news was reported by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport on Tuesday.
And fans were quick to weigh in on X, the site formerly known as Twitter.
“You love seeing this. He and Odunze will be dynamic in the coming years,” said one fan.
“The Bears have been making a lot of good plays lately,” said another fan.
“The Bears will win the Super Bowl during this contract,” wrote a third fan.
“This is another good deal, can’t wait for this season,” said a fourth fan.
“Good news for the Bears, the future looks bright,” said a fifth fan.

Moore, 27, played five seasons for the Carolina Panthers.
He then moved to the Bears where he had a great 2023 season.
Moore posted his fourth 1,000-yard season with a career-high 1,364 yards.
He also had 96 receptions and eight touchdowns.
Chicago now knows that its No. 1 pick, quarterback Caleb Williams, will have its top receiver locked up for years to come.
The Bears finish with a 7–10 regular season record in 2023.
That wasn’t good enough for a playoff spot in the new year.
