An ESPN analyst received high praise for his take on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott during First Take.
One of Stephen A. Smith’s replacements on the sports debate show got into a fight with Chris “Mad Dog” Russo on the topic of the NFL.

Fiery personality Russo revealed his top 10 NFL quarterbacks during a segment on First Take.
However, Prescott, who came in second in last season’s MVP voting behind Lamar Jackson, was not on the list.
Riddick made a point of telling Russo and viewers that he disagreed with Prescott’s snub.
“Who was the guy with the Cowboys’ No. 4 jersey?” Riddick asked Russo.
“He was like the No. 1 quarterback in QBR and his completion percentage was above par. Who threw all those passes? Wasn’t it Dak? Was it him!”
Riddick admitted that Prescott “needs to improve his performance in the postseason.”
The three-time Pro Bowl signal-caller has a 2-5 record in the playoffs and is coming off a three-interception performance against the Green Bay Packers in last year’s Divisional Round playoffs.
But the former NFL board member argued that Prescott and Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins are “responsible for everything” when their team loses and get no credit when they win.

Last week, Molly Qerim returned to her usual presenting duties on First Take after taking some time off.
She has since appeared on the show without co-star Stephen A. Smith, who left the show for an extended break on July 2 and has since only appeared on three broadcasts.

On Wednesday, Qerim revealed that Smith would return on First Take on Friday.
[Smith’s] will be with me in Chicago on Friday,” Molly said.
“We have a big show and he will be there.”
First Take will take place in front of a live audience at the National Association of Black Journalists conference.
It will take place at the Hilton Chicago as part of the NABJ festivities,” Qerim revealed to fans earlier this month.
First Take airs every weekday from 10 a.m. ET to noon on ESPN.
