CHICAGO Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is preparing like a champion ahead of his rookie NFL campaign.
The 22-year-old revealed he is following Tom Brady’s TB12 lifestyle program to get in top physical shape.
Chicago selected Williams as the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
He is expected to be the Bears’ starter when they begin their challenge against the Tennessee Titans on September 8th.
Williams reportedly contacted Brady’s former personal trainer, Alex Guerrero, as he prepared for the NFL.
“I know Caleb talked to Alex a few times on the phone,” former NFL player TJ Houshmandzadeh told FS1. To speak.
“They talked a lot for a few hours on the phone about things you should do, things you should look for.”
Guerrero was responsible for creating the TB12 mantra, which involves 12 different principles.
They range from balance and moderation to promoting anti-inflammatory responses in the body.
A crucial step is to follow a strict diet, completely free of white sugar, white flour and dairy products.

Brady, 46, has previously credited his strict eating habits with allowing him to play well into his fifth decade.
“[I’m eating] no white rice, no white flour, no red sauce,” Williams revealed to ESPN.
“We have a lot of other things, without sugar. There are some things in there.”
Brady’s diet may have been extreme, but the GOAT occasionally allowed himself a little indulgence,
“If I’m in the mood for bacon, I have a piece,” Brady revealed during his playing days, per Essentially Sports.
“The same goes with pizza. You should never restrict what you really want. We’re human, we’re here for a lifetime.”
Tom Brady’s domino effect
Tom Brady will take his place on Fox’s top NFL announcing team alongside Kevin Burkhardt.
And its arrival on the network triggered a domino effect, with every other announcer moving down one position.
This means that Fox’s NFL coverage in 2024 will feature entirely new broadcast pairs.
Greg Olsen, who previously worked alongside Burkhardt, will now be part of the second announcing team with Joe Davis.
Fox’s other pairs for 2024 are:
- Adam Amin-Mark Sanchez
- Kenny Albert-Jon Vilma
- Kevin Kugler-Daryl Johnston
- Chris Myers-Mark Schlereth
The Bears’ offense was revamped during the offseason, with Williams surrounded by talent.
He will be playing for DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and fellow rookie Rome Odunze next season.
And the Brady-inspired diet is being supported by an equally grueling exercise regimen.
“A big part of it is diet and training — and how you exercise,” Williams continued.
“And then entering the field, the mental part and the physical part take control.
“But the things I can control, [I’m trying to] control these things, which is mainly my diet.”
