AN ILLINOIS man has been charged with a crime after allegedly threatening to shoot two Kansas City Chiefs players.

Aaron Brown, 23, of Winchester, IL, was accused of making a “terrorist threat” before Friday’s Morgan Wallen concert at Arrowhead Stadium, according to authorities.

Kansas City Police Detectives observed a post on X making a threat against two individuals, for Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office.

The concert at the Chiefs’ stadium was delayed by 40 minutes while officers searched for Brown and his girlfriend.

Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce attended the show and met with Wallen backstage.

Mahomes was joined by his wife Brittany, who is pregnant with their third child.

Kelce and Mahomes were not officially identified by authorities in court records.

Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones was also in attendance at the show, according to the Kansas City Star.

The threat to X, which was hidden in the charging documents, read: “Mr. [redacted] in Arrowhead with his wife. If it brings up [redacted] or [redacted] I am going to try. Fuck you!”

Brown “confirmed to police where he was located in Arrowhead,” according to the Jackson County news release.

Officers called his cell phone after reading the alleged threat online.

He then voluntarily told police he was at the stadium and reported which section he was sitting in, according to the New York Post Office.

“It was a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake,” he later told police, according to the police report cited by the Daily Mail.

Brown was charged Saturday with a Class E felony of making a 2nd degree terroristic threat.

His bail was set at $15,000.

A representative for the Kansas City Chiefs declined to comment, according to The KC Star.

Kelce and Mahomes went viral after joining Wallen backstage before the show.

Wallen wore a replica Chiefs jersey with the number 7, the number worn by kicker Harrison Butker.

Butker sparked controversy earlier this year after speaking at a college commencement address in Kansas.

He stated that many women are destined to be “housewives” and referenced pride, birth control and COVID restrictions.

Kelce and Mahomes are busy preparing for the 2024 NFL season, which begins next month.

The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions and are aiming for a historic three-peat.

Travis recently returned from Europe, where he was supporting girlfriend Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour.
