Allen was drafted in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams and has spent his entire career with the team.

He saw regular playing time in his rookie year and became a starter in 2019.

Allen missed the 2020 season from Covid, but returned in 2021 and started 16 games for the Rams, becoming a Super Bowl champion with the team.

He would remain with the Rams in 2022 and 2023, but was released after the 2023 season.

After being released in February, Allen signed with the Browns but was placed on the injured list last week.

Allen was released from the IL with a deal and will once again be a free agent.

The Browns have a critical season ahead of them and are making sure their squad is perfect to meet the challenge.

They made moves in the offseason to bolster their roster and advance to the playoffs.

The biggest of those moves was trading for Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.

Cleveland gave up a fifth- and sixth-round draft pick for the wide receiver, who should fit well alongside Amari Cooper.

The Browns didn’t have many picks in the 2024 Draft, but they used them to make solid additions to their roster.

They took Ohio State defensive tackle Mike Hall in the second round and Michigan guard Zak Zinter in the third round.

In the fifth round, the Browns took wide receiver Jamari Thrash from Louisville before taking linebacker Nathaniel Watson from Mississippi State.

They had two picks in the seventh round, signing cornerback Myles Harden from South Dakota and defensive tackle Jowon Briggs from Cincinnati.

The Browns finished the 2023 season with an 11-6 record, making the playoffs but losing in the first round.

With a healthy season from quarterback Deshaun Watson, they could get back to the playoffs and maybe win a playoff game.

The season begins against the Dallas Cowboys on September 8th.

The Browns’ opening game will be the first that Tom Brady will commentate on Fox Sports.
