AFTER Skip Bayless’ sudden departure from Undisputed, Fox Sports is taking the show off the air.
Undisputed will return, but Fox Sports is taking a look at the show’s future in the meantime.
Bayless aired his final Undisputed show on Friday and confirmed it was the end for him.
“Today was my last show at Undisputed,” Skip he wrote.
“I’m leaving FS1. I have been planning other opportunities for several months.
“I’ve had a great 8 year journey with a lot of great people at FOX, but now I’m excited about what’s to come. Stay tuned.”

On Monday, instead of Undisputed, Fox Sports aired a Best Of Football special during the traditional 9:30 a.m. ET time slot that Undisputed maintains.
Cable channel guides currently have the next episode of Undisputed scheduled to air on FS1 on Monday, August 12, giving the show a week off.
Fox Sports may be exploring who will headline the show in the future.
Reportedly, Keyshawn Johnson and Richard Sherman will remain on the show as panelists, but Paul Pierce and Rachel Nichols have not been confirmed.

Fox Sports shared a statement following Bayless’ departure from the network.
“The Fox Sports family thanks Skip Bayless for his outstanding contributions to FS1,” said declaration to read.
“His passion, vision and distinctive voice have entertained audiences and captivated sports fans over the years.
“We wish Skip continued success in his future endeavors.”
While Bayless only teased what the future holds for him, fans know it won’t be ESPN.
The network released a statement confirming that it will not be in the market for its services.
“We are adjusted to the current First, rotate and wish Skip the best in his future endeavors,” the network said. Reception Sports.
There’s no telling who could replace Bayless on Undisputed, but Front Office Sports reported that his departure could shake up the entire lineup this week on FS1.
It’s possible that Undisputed will be canceled and the show’s talent will be moved around.
If anything, the move shows that ESPN and First Take are still the kings of TV debate.
