BRYSON DECHAMBEAU lost to a fan during his final round of the PGA Championship after the grown man tried to steal a golf ball from a young spectator.
The best golfer threw the ball into the crowd, hoping a young fan would catch it.
But it was intercepted by a much older fan, who then ran with DeChambeau’s ball.
The American golfer immediately turned his golf club towards the fan to point it at the crowd.
He then shouted, “Hey, hey, hey! Give that ball back!”
The shy fan ended up agreeing and gave the ball back to the young man.
He could be seen running away after being embarrassed by DeChambeau.
After handing the ball to the boy, a fan could be heard on the video calling Bryson a “man of the people.”
It happened when he narrowly missed out on winning the PGA Championship to Xander Schauffele.
He was praised for his “class” as he congratulated Schauffele on his first major victory by CBS announcer Jim Nantz.
