The South African ace was playing at the Soudal Open when he fell close to unlucky on the 13th hole in Belgium.

De Jager, 37, decided to avoid the fall and hit the shot, but he had to brace himself.
He strangely took off his shirt and unbuttoned his pants before throwing the ball.
One commenter asked, “Is this really necessary?”
While his co-commentator explained: “Well, he doesn’t want to get mud on his shirt.”
De Jager nailed it and reaped the rewards for taking the risk, as he himself looked happy and received applause from the audience.
