PRO golfer Min Woo Lee was forced to flee from a mysterious animal at the US Open.
The hilarious moment came on the eve of the prestigious tournament, which begins on Thursday and sees the sport’s top stars vie for gold.
However, Australian ace Lee had a heated confrontation with a cute creature during warm-ups on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old, ranked 31st in the world, was putting on his shorts on the lawn in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
But Lee was stunned when a mysterious animal ran into the grass.
Despite looking like a squirrel, the small creature had a bizarre black and white coloring.
This left Lee afraid it might be a possum.
And the golfer was forced to retreat in brilliant footage as the animal chased him on several occasions.
Filming the incident, Lee said: “Hello Pinehurst. What is this animal?
“Is it a skunk, a raccoon or a squirrel?”

Lee then told the creature, “Stay back, brother, stay back. Do you want something? Look at this posture.”
However, the comments seemed to inflame the animal, which began jumping towards Lee.

Fortunately for Lee, the furry demon went off course.
He sighed, “Just relaxing.”
Fans were left in shock over Lee’s encounter with the mysterious animal, which turned out to be a harmless fox squirrel.
