CBS reporter Amanda Balionis is enjoying a vacation in the Hamptons, while Rory McIlroy suffered golf agony at the US Open.

Balionis went to the beach in a bikini, amid some speculation that she had become romantically involved with famous golfer McIlroy.

McIlroy confirmed last week that he has called off his divorce from wife Erica Stoll.

Allegations have been made in some quarters of the US media that McIlroy had an affair with Balionis.

The reporter seems to have had a real party in recent days, posting a photo of herself in a bikini on the beach.

She seemed to be really enjoying spending time with friends at the popular summer spot.

Questions have been raised in recent months about her two-year marriage to college football coach Bryn Renner.

Balionis has not worn her wedding ring since February in her social media posts.

And she changed her username on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, from her married nickname, Balionis Renner, to just her maiden name, Balionis.

McIlroy addressed rumors about his life last week, while also revealing he was calling off his planned divorce.

“There have been rumors about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate,” McIlroy told the Guardian newspaper.

“Responding to every rumor is a fool’s game.

“Over the past few weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future would be as a united family.

“Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a fresh start.”

McIlroy won four majors between 2011 and 2014.

But he hasn’t won any since and his US Open at Pinehurst turned into a nightmare due to the final holes.

The Northern Irishman looked well placed to claim his first major in a decade.
