GOLFERS in Florida had the scariest moments when a “dinosaur” crocodile was seen chomping on a giant fish just meters from where they were playing.

In an extremely unexpected moment during a regular round of golf, the crocodile emerged from the lake with what appeared to be a huge catfish in its jaws.

There was a post from @NUCLRGOLF on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, that showed the unlikely scene.

“Golf in Florida is different,” was the message posted alongside the video.

As you can imagine, fans were quick to give their opinion.

“Not only is the crocodile huge, but what the hell kind of fish is that in a golf lake!” one fan wrote.

“This is very dangerous,” said another fan.

“You have your protein bars and Gatorade, I have my Catfish and I see you betting a 7, now move on,” was another amusing comment.

“Old alligator showing off his day job like ‘y’all impressed,’” said a fourth fan.

“I would let that beast move on,” said a fifth fan.

“I’m not sure I could hold the camera directly recording a video of this,” said a sixth fan.

Playing golf in Florida has always had its dangers.

Alligators have been regularly spotted along the route.

And in this technological age, they are often captured on video.

Golfers at Tara Golf and Country Club in Bradenton, Florida, saw an alligator emerge from the lake in front of them with a large fish in 2022.

It certainly gives players quite a story to tell at the bar after the round.

It is known that crocodiles are common throughout the state.

Florida’s warm climate and numerous bodies of water create an ideal habitat for these reptiles.

Seeing them is even a popular attraction for locals and tourists, especially in the Everglades.

However, it is very uncommon for crocodiles to attack humans.

Despite this, it is best to avoid them while playing golf or doing anything else.

It was reported that an alligator bit a fisherman’s hand on a golf course in Florida earlier this year.
