The commentator’s curse comes immediately when golf hothead LIV Tyrrell Hatton swears on live TV after losing on WIND

LIV Golf star Tyrrell Hatton made the commentator regret his words after losing his cool in the wind.

The Brit won his first title on the tour in Nashville.

But he didn’t have it all his own way and drove a blast into the wind after missing two shots in a row.

Hatton, 32, is often vocal in his self-criticism and has a tendency to lose his cool on the course, with his meltdown at The Masters attracting a lot of attention.

However, he managed to maintain his composure after missing a putt, earning praise from commentator David Feherty.

Feherty praised his “calm” when Hatton lined up another shot and missed again.

This time, Hatton reacted to his shot with anger, in a classic case of the commentator’s curse.

He said: “Disgusting, disgusting. Fuck you, wind.

“Two in a row completely fucked me up.”

Hatton came back birdied on three of his last five holes to finish at 19 under after 54 holes and beat compatriot Sam Horsfield by six strokes.
