INFLUENCER Paige Spiranac could be ready to save Nathan’s hot dog eating contest.
The annual Fourth of July event has been hit with the news that 16-time champion and competitive eating legend Joey Chestnut will not be attending.
Organizers took issue with the fact that Chestnut, 40, had signed a deal with Impossible Foods.
But Spiranac, 31, hinted that he could reach 4 million followers on Instagram.
“I’m so excited for you to see all the 4th of July content I have planned for you, plus a surprise,” she captioned a photo of herself in front of a plate of sausages on her Stories.
She was wearing denim shorts and a low-cut blue blouse covered in stars.
Spiranac made a name for himself on the golf course before taking over social media.
Unfortunately, your sporting talents may not extend to competitive eating.
Spiranac shared a video of his hot dogs drinking after the news of Chestnut’s ban.
Paige started a timer and started eating as many hot dogs as she could in ten minutes.
She decided to attack the sausages first and then polish the buns.
Unfortunately, the beauty started to struggle after she got to her sixth hot dog – giving some to her dog to help.
“That was terrible, the technique of two dogs at the same time was not that,” she said.
“I started very aggressive and it wasn’t the move, I should have followed my plan one at a time.
“The first part was just the density, I had so much stuff in my mouth I couldn’t swallow and that was the hardest part.
“They were huge chunks and I didn’t know what to do, so it wasn’t fun.
“The smell of hot dogs is making me gag right now.”
What is the meat?

Joey Chestnut will not be able to compete in this year’s Hot Dog Eating Contest because of a new sponsorship deal.
Chestnut has won 16 Fourth of July contests and in 2021 that’s 76 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes.
The hot dog eating competition is organized by Major League Eating and sponsored by Nathan’s – a famous sausage brand.
And Chestnut signed a deal with plant-based Impossible Foods.
This makes it impossible for him to now compete in Nathan’s contest unless something changes.
Chestnut said he was “devastated” by the news that he will not be allowed to defend his title.
Chestnut’s record is a mind-boggling 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes.
The Colossus of Kraut will take its talents to Texas instead of Coney Island this year.
He will face soldiers at a military base on Independence Day, after missing the event where he made his name.
Chestnut will try to eat four soldiers.
Your effort will be graded against the combined count.
“If they (each) break ten, that would be really good,” he said as he fasted with water, lemon juice and liquefied calories to prepare, according to the New York Post Office.
