Woods, 48, was the highest-ranked athlete on the list after extensive research was carried out.

The golf star is a 15-time major winner but is a household name around the world.
In the spirit of the Fourth of July, a study was commissioned by Casino.org to celebrate independence.
The survey asked 4,000 Americans whether they recognized famous figures and came up with an extensive list.
The list featured 10 political and historical figures, as well as 10 athletes and 10 pioneering businesspeople.
Trump came in first with 99.6% of Americans knowing him, while King Jr. came in second with 98.1.
Woods appeared as the top-ranked athlete, with 97.4% recognition.
Sarah Palin (96.8%) and Jeff Bezos (96.6%) completed the top five in the survey.
Bill Gates (96.1%) came in sixth, with Steve Jobs in seventh (95.8%) before Shaquille O’Neal entered the chart.
NBA icon Shaq came in eighth with 95.4% awareness, while Mike Tyson came in 10th with 95.1%.
Sports starts were shared by politician Bernie Sanders in ninth, with 95.3%.
Muhammad Ali was ranked 12th overall and the fourth highest ranked sports star with 90.5% recognition.
And another basketball icon, Michael Jordan, ranked 14th overall with 88.6%.
In total, there were 10 sports stars in the top 30 of the famous list.

Magic Johnson made it into the top 20 at 19th overall with 84.9%.

Serena Williams came in 22nd with 76.3%, while Olympic icon Simone Biles came in 24th with 75.1%.
Surprisingly, the list did not feature any current or former NFL players such as Travis Kelce or Patrick Mahomes.
Kelce has seen her popularity soar in recent months thanks to her relationship with Taylor Swift.
The Chiefs tight end gained many new followers on social media, but was not part of the list compiled by Casino.org.
Not even seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady was selected.
