JOHN DALY’S charismatic style once again caught the eye during the penultimate day of training ahead of The Open at Royal Troon this week.
The golfer, known for his eccentric personality on the course, was seen smoking a cigarette as he walked between holes on Tuesday.
Not only that, but Daly was seen walking the links in a neon green, yellow and blue checkered sweater and shorts.
The 58-year-old still has around two years until his exempt entry into The Open due to being a previous winner.
The rules give the odd Californian golfer the right to play in the tournament until he is 60 years old.
Daly won the 1995 edition of The Open in St. Andrews, Scotland, after defeating Costantino Rocca in a playoff.
The American golfer’s other big win came at the PGA Championship in 1991.
Over the course of a remarkable career, Daly developed a reputation as one of professional golf’s most entertaining stars.
Her outfits have become the stuff of legend and last year Daly made headlines when she adorned striped shorts and a Donald Trump top.
Nicknamed ‘Long John’ for his insane drive, Daly is known for his laid-back approach to the fairways and his unusual diet.

During the 2022 PGA Championship in Oklahoma, he smoked 21 cigarettes, drank 12 Diet Cokes and ate six bags of peanut M&Ms.
Although he also became known for his love of wings restaurant Hooters.
And fans declared that Daly’s bright personality was one of the main reasons they were tuning in for this weekend’s Open clash.
One said: “He’s the only reason I watch golf. He’s fun to watch and I love hearing his stories about drinking all night and going out to play the next day.”
Another declared: “Peak male athletic performance right there.”
Daly also turned to X to support Trump after his failed assassination attempt on Sunday.
He wrote: “President Trump is one of the toughest men I know! God bless him and his family at this time.
“This is devastating – our revenge will reach the ballot box in November!”
He will begin his 26th visit to The Open at 8am on Thursday, alongside compatriot Stewart Cink, who won the 2009 title.
