Royal Troon took no prisoners this week, with favorites Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau finishing their first round over par.

But that’s better than Langasque managed, as he completed just seven holes in his first round on Thursday.

He started off well enough by making a birdie on the second to make up for his bogey on the opening hole.

But everything changed on the fourth day, where Langasque later revealed that he suffered an injury.

The Frenchman tried to continue before an accident on day eight led to an exasperated Langasque to drop out.

His disastrous tee shot ended badly after traveling just 51 meters and he continued to put the ball in an even worse position.

Langasque initially tried to take the next shot before backtracking, taking off his cap and shaking his head, visibly fed up with the afternoon’s game.

He later took to social media to reveal the reason for his early withdrawal.
