DAN Patrick continues to feed fans with information about the upcoming Happy Gilmore sequel.
Patrick, the host of the Dan Patrick Show, has appeared in several Adam Sandler films.
Due to his involvement in so many Adam Sandler films, Patrick became the main source of information for Happy Gilmore 2 and continued to slowly leak more to fans.
Sandler has already appeared on the Dan Patrick Show to talk about the film, which was greenlit by Netflix in May.
Christopher McDonald, the actor who plays Shooter McGavin, originally appeared on the show to talk about the potential for a sequel, but Sandler confirmed it.
Details have been scarce since his appearances on the show earlier this year, but Patrick now finally has more information for fans.

The biggest piece of information Patrick had for fans was that he would have a role in the film as himself.
“He said, ‘You’re going to stay behind the desk.’ So I assume that means being on site and then I’ll be at the golf tournament,” Patrick said.
“And I think September is when they start filming, and it would be in New Jersey, but I don’t know where; I don’t know how many days.
“He didn’t say anything about Danettes being in the gallery as extras, which I would like to propose. It would be really nice, maybe a cut of you together.
“But by doing it in a subtle way, I suggest that if there is an opportunity for the Danettes, it will be easier for me to take a day off and film my scene for Happy Gilmore 2.
“I don’t even know what the official title is. I contacted Sandman this morning (Thursday, August 1) and said, ‘Any update on the title of the film?’ And no response.
“So right now, I think the working title is Happy Gilmore 2. And then, it will come out in the summer of next year.
“Maybe they’ll come up with something different, although we did Grown Ups and then we did Grown Ups 2, so I don’t know if there’s going to be a lot of variation there.”
The original Happy Gilmore was released in 1996 and could be released on its 30th anniversary.
Fans shared their excitement for the upcoming film as more and more details were revealed.
“I think I trust Adam Sandler to get this right,” said one fan.
“Happy Gilmore was his best comedy film,” said another fan.
“After summer 2026 my life will be complete,” said a third fan.
“This is the happiest day of my life,” said a fourth fan.
