KAY Adams’ football knowledge may have helped her pick a Kentucky Derby winner.
The popular host took her skills to the track ahead of tomorrow’s big race.
She spoke to jockey Tyler Gaffalione, 29, about the bond he has with Sierra Leone.
“We get along well. It’s a cool bond, I trust him and he trusts me,” he told the Up & Adams host, 38.
“I believe it,” Adams responded before taking to social media to add more details.
She said Gaffalione and Sierra Leone’s relationship reminds her of Sean Payton and Drew Brees.
The three-year-old colt is among the favorites for glory tomorrow.
And given that the former New Orleans Saints quarterback is likely headed straight to the Hall of Fame, the omens could be good for Gaffalione.
Payton led Brees to victory over NFL great Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLIV – the culmination of a successful partnership.
Adams received a lot of praise from fans after showing off her outfit at Churchill Downs.
