“Allow me to reintroduce myself.”

That’s Cody Bellinger, probably. The Cubs lefty hit a ball into the basket at Wrigley Field on Tuesday during his first game back at Friendly Confines off the injured list.

Bellinger had not played since April 23, when He hit on the outfield wall trying to make a catch in center field. He fractured two ribs in the incident, forcing him onto the 10-day injured list.

He now has six home runs on the season, accompanied by 17 RBIs, a .226 batting average and a .760 OPS.
