Yankees expect Jasson Dominguez to miss at least eight weeks with ‘fairly significant’ oblique strain

Speaking to reporters ahead of Thursday afternoon’s matchup with the Baltimore Orioles, Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that the external perspective Jason Dominguez he will be sidelined for “at least eight weeks” with a “quite significant” oblique strain.

Dominguez was activated off the 60-day IL last week after undergoing Tommy John surgery last year, but felt something on his left side while playing with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre over the weekend.
