Yankees pitcher in baseball Giancarlo Stanton left Saturday’s game against the Atlanta Braves early with a tight left hamstring.

The team announced that the former MVP will undergo imaging tests on Sunday.

Stanton hit a double to lead off the fourth inning. He would score on Gleyber Torres‘ doubled late in the inning, but cameras captured Stanton cautiously rounding third base as he headed home. The broadcast also caught Stanton making a visible grimace as he crossed home plate.

When it was his turn in order, in the sixth, he was hit with Trent Grisham.

Stanton finished 1-2 with the run scored.

The Yankees DH had a bounce-back year. In 69 games, Stanton is hitting .246 with 18 home runs and has 45 RBI.
