Here’s a look at the latest Mets changes to the list…

Veteran outfielder Trayce Thompson has been released from his contract with the Triple-A Syracuse Mets, the team announced.
Thompson, 33, was reassigned by Mets to minor league camp on March 19. In 12 spring training games, he recorded six hits, including two doubles and two homers, with six RBI.
He played 62 games for Syracuse and had a .228 average with 13 doubles, 16 home runs, and 44 RBI. Over seven years in the big leagues with five different clubs, including four years with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Thompson has a career batting average of .212 with 41 doubles, 45 home runs, and 126 RBI in 369 games.
May 16, 3:30 p.m.
The Mets announced before Thursday’s series finale against the Philadelphia Phillies that they have retired the left-hander Josh Walker from Triple-A Syracuse.
Walker has pitched well in the minors and has struck out three times in three scoreless games so far in the big league this season.
In a corresponding escalation move, Joey Lucchesi was optioned back to Triple-A after struggling to start against the Phillies on Wednesday night.
The lefty pitched well through the first five innings, but lost command in the fifth and was pulled after allowing five runs on five hits and four walks.
May 4, 3:07 p.m.
The Mets have officially announced the prospect’s call-up Christian Scott on Saturday afternoon. Additionally, the team reminded the RHP Cole Suler from Triple-A.
In a corresponding move, both the LHP Danny Young and RHP Dedniel Nuñez were acquired by Triple-A Syracuse.
With the Mets not off until Thursday and the bullpen overwhelmed after José Quintana’s rough start on Friday, the team is calling for reinforcements.
Suler appeared in three games in April before being optioned to Triple-A. In that span, he gave up four runs in 3.2 innings while striking out four batters. Nunez pitched 2.1 innings, giving up one run on one hit, on Friday, while Young threw two scoreless innings last night.

The Mets announced on Sunday afternoon that reliever Austin Adams was traded to the Oakland A’s for cash considerations.
Adams, 32, had already been assigned to a mission by the club.
The right-handed reliever originally signed with the Mets in November after stints with Arizona, San Diego, Seattle and Washington.
Adams had a rough spring with the Mets. In seven appearances, the veteran has allowed four earned runs on seven hits in 6.1 innings, posting a 1.26 WHIP.
March 23, 9:30 pm
With final roster decisions looming, the Mets have made a flurry of moves ahead of Saturday’s spring training game.
After an up-and-down spring display, right-handed Shintaro Fujinami was chosen for minor league camp, Mets manager Carlos Mendoza announced.
Austin Adams was also moved to minor league camp after pitching to a 6.75 ERA in six spring games.
Right Phil Bickford was designated for assignment to make room on the roster with the one-year contract with JD Martinez becoming official on Saturday morning.
Additionally, Mendoza said the team told C Tomas NidoINF José Iglesiasand 1B/DH Lucas Voit that they didn’t crack the big league roster.

The Mets have moved six players to minor league camp: right-handed pitchers Kyle Crick, Yackel Rios It is Cole Sulseroutfielders Ben Gamel It is Trayce Thompson and field player Yolmer Sanchez.
Rios allowed just one hit in 5.0 innings over four starts, with six strikeouts and one walk. Sulser also allowed just one hit in 6.0 innings in five starts with 10 strikeouts.
Thompson led the club with his six RBI in 11 spring training games. He had two doubles and two home runs among his six hits in 24 at-bats.

The Mets announced that three players have been reassigned to minor league camp: OF Taylor KohlweyHR Chad Smith and LHP Nate Lavender.
Together with Alex Ramirez was optioned to Double-A while RHP Grant Hartwig and LHP Josh Walker were optioned to Triple-A.
Ramirez, SNY Mets Prospect #18, had a solid spring going 4-for-11 with a double, walk and RBI. He spent the entire 2023 season in High-A with the Brooklyn Cyclones.

The Mets announced a series of roster changes on Sunday morning, including some of the organization’s top prospects.
The team announced that the following players have been reassigned to minor league camp: OF Drew Gilberto, RHP Eric Orze, W Kevin Parada, RHP Cam Robinson, RHP Christian Scott, RHP Mike Vasil, INF Jett Williams and LHP Young Danny.
Furthermore, INF Luisangel Acuña and LHP Kolton Ingram were optioned to Triple-A.
Williams, Gilbert and Acuña are classified as Joe DeMayo’s top three Mets prospects for the 2024 season. Scott and Vasil are also among DeMayo’s top 10 prospects, and both players pitched for the Mets on Saturday before being sent to minor league camp.
Acuña, 21, had eight hits with the big club this spring, hitting .375 with an RBI single.

The Mets announced on Sunday that they have claimed L.H.P. Kolton Ingram waivers from the Detroit Tigers.
In a corresponding move, the team transferred the LHP David Peterson for the 60-day IL. Peterson underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left hip in November and is expected to miss the first month or two of the season while working to return to full health.
Ingram, 27, was drafted by the Tigers in the 37th round of the 2019 MLB Draft but was later released in July 2020 while the minor league season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He signed with the Los Angeles Angels organization in January 2021 and split the season between Single-A and Double-A. The team protected him from the Rule 5 draft in 2022 and he began 2023 at Triple-A.
The left-hander went 2-3 at Triple-A with a 3.21 ERA in 22 starts and made his MLB debut with the Angels on June 15, 2023. He struggled in five starts with an 8.44 ERA in 5 ,1 entries. Ingram was then sent to Double-A, where he went 1-1 with a 2.63 ERA in 23 starts, but ended up being DFA’d in January. He was claimed off waivers by the Tigers on February 5 and then designated for assignment again on February 20.

The Mets announced on Sunday that the right-handed pitcher Austin Adams waivers released after being designated for assignment earlier this month. He was then reassigned to Triple-A Syracuse and will participate in spring training as a minor league guest.
Adams was DFA’d on February 6 to make room for newly signed LHP Jake Diekman on the 40-man roster. Adams, who signed a one-year split, non-guaranteed major league contract with the Mets in November, will now have another chance to get the team out of spring training.
The right-hander had a 5.71 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in 17.1 innings with the Diamondbacks last season, but fractured his ankle in August, ending his season.

To make room for a recently signed left-handed reliever Jake Diekman on the 40-man roster, the Mets designated a right-handed reliever Austin Adams for assignment.
Adams signed a one-year non-guaranteed major league split contract with the Mets in November.
He spent last season with the Arizona Diamondbacks, but his season was cut short due to a broken ankle in early August.
He had a 5.71 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP in just 17.1 innings.

The Mets changed their catcher Tyler Heineman to the Boston Red Sox for cash considerations, the club announced Friday.
New York claimed Heineman off waivers from Toronto on December 1, 2023, before assigning him to assignment on January 30 to make room on the 40-man roster after signature reliever Adam Ottavino for a one-year contract.
In his last 84 major league games over the past two seasons, bouncing between the Blue Jays and Pittsburgh Pirates, the 32-year-old catcher has a .221 average and .576 OPS in 221 plate appearances.
Friday was a busy day for the organization as the Mets also agreed to sign a right-handed reliever Shintaro Fujinami and left-handed Jake Diekman.

The Mets did Adam OttavinoThe one-year deal was made official on Tuesday night, and in a corresponding roster move to free up space on the 40-man roster, catcher Tyler Heineman was designated for assignment.
New York claimed Heineman off waivers from Toronto earlier this offseason, but his stay with the organization was short-lived.
The 32-year-old backstop has appeared in just 104 games and has a .218 average and .579 OPS in parts of four big league seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants and Marlins.
