O Mets are reinforcing their external depth, signing Jackie Bradley Jr. to a minor league deal, according to multiple reports.
Bradley will report to Triple-A Syracuse.
The 34-year-old played for the Independent League Long Island Ducks, where he was in the midst of a 28-game hitting streak.
During the streak, Bradley was hitting .471 with a .537 OBP.
Bradley last played in the majors in 2023 for the Kansas City Royals, where he slashed just .133/.188/.210 in 43 games.

In 11 big league seasons with the Royals, Toronto Blue Jays, Red Sox and Milwaukee Brewers, Bradley hit .225/.303/.381.
He was a plus defender last season when he was worth 4 DRS.
