Giants ace Snell throws no hit in masterpiece against Reds originally appeared in NBC Sports Bay Area

Blake Snell threw the 18th no-hitter in Giants franchise history.

The left-hander’s dominant run continued with a historic Giants victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night at Great American Ballpark, giving Snell a place in the MLB record books.

Snell’s masterpiece comes less than a month after he I almost played a perfect game against the Minnesota Twins, with the left-hander crossing the finish line this time to secure baseball immortality.
