The premier mixed martial arts promotion is Down Under this weekend for its ninth pay-per-view card of a stacked 2024.
UFC 305 takes place in Perth, Australia and characteristics a showdown between rivals Dricus Du Plessis and Israel Adesanya.
South African slugger Du Plessis will attempt to make his first defense of his middleweight title – which he won with a decision win over Sean Strickland in January – against the former long-time ruler of the division.
Tensions have been rising between the two since Du Plessis claimed he would become the “true” African UFC champion.
