CONOR McGREGOR risked the wrath of UFC boss Dana White by becoming part-owner of a rival promotion.
McGregor announced a partnership with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, having previously sponsored them.
He said: “Ladies and gentlemen, the big announcement I have for you today, Conor McGregor and McGregor Sports and Entertainment are now owners of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships.
“Welcome to the big leagues. David Feldman, honey, we did it.”
BKFC has welcomed several former UFC stars to its roster, including former champions Mike Perry, 32, and Luke Rockhold, 39.
But founder David Feldman has often talked about a feud with UFC president White and recently met with the MMA power broker.
Although it remains to be seen how McGregor’s announcement could rock the boat.
Feldman was asked how White would feel about the UFC’s biggest star partnering with a competitor.
And he said, “Listen, Dana White has a juggernaut in the UFC.
“Conor McGregor certainly messes with them, but he has a lot of success without [McGregor] – not that he’s fighting for us.

“I’m just saying, but how is he promoting our product to us?
“You’re probably a little mad, your #1 star is going to talk about a different company, so you’re probably not too happy about it.
“But he’s not worried about us.”
McGregor’s Forged Irish Stout became a sponsor of BKFC before announcing their official partnership.
Feldman said: “We’ve had some incredible conversations, some great ideas have already been exchanged.
“It was funny, I was saying to my wife, ‘I’ve been dying for Conor McGregor to call me and now the guy won’t stop calling me.’ It’s unbelievable.
“But he’s so excited about it. I really think this takes it to the next level.”
