MMA star Cedric Doumbe has vowed to take his opponent’s head off after being ridiculed for his controversial TOE loss.
Doumbe in September was defeated by French rival Baysangur Chamsoudinov after a bizarre complaint of a splinter in his foot.
The former kickboxing champion signaled to British referee Marc Goddard that he had something stuck in his foot.
But after being told to keep fighting and again calling time out to check his foot, Goddard abruptly stopped the fight.
Doumbe was “disgusted” by the decision, having suffered a controversial technical knockout defeat.
He now returns on Friday, May 17, at the Accor Arena in Paris, against American Jaleel Willis.
And Doumbe, 31, said: “I just don’t want Jaleel to pray for a splinter to get into the cage this time.
“I hope it’s good, I hope it’s not Marc Goddard again, because then we can have a good fight.
But Willis, 32, responded: “There will be hands in the cage, no splinters.
“You don’t have to worry about splinters, it will be straight hands in the cage.”

Doumbe – a friend of PSG star Kylian Mbappe – is now 5-1 in the cage after moving from kickboxing to much fanfare.
And he signed with the Professional Fighters League, but returns with a Bellator card as part of the companies’ recent merger.
Now Doumbe is trying to silence the outspoken 16-5 Willis after being ridiculed over his toe injury.
He said: “I’m a fighter, I was born to fight, I was born to knock out. I was born to knock out Jaleel, so I will do it.
“France is waiting for me, all the French fans, the French people and even the American people are waiting for me to knock him out.
“I’ll do what I do best: I’ll rip your head off, shut your mouth up, and send you back to the US.”
