Briton Muhammad Mokaev has indicated that he will face fellow flyweight Manel Kape at UFC 304, in Manchester, on July 27th.
Mokaev, 23, shared a photo of himself with the Portuguese Kape, 30, on social media with the caption “July 27th, another victory”.
The UFC has not yet confirmed any fights for the event at the city’s new Co-op Live Arena.
Last month, interim British heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall said he would also be competing on the card.
Mokaev, ranked sixth in the UFC flyweight rankings, is undefeated in his 13-fight career, with his last victory coming against Alex Perez in March.
A victory over seventh-ranked Kape, who last fought in September in his victory over Felipe dos Santos, would put him in strong title contention.
Champion Alexandre Pantoja retained the belt at UFC 301 last week, defeating Steve Erceg via unanimous decision.
