Asael Adjoudj left his opponent upside down, literally, in the Bellator Champions Series: Paris opening of the preliminaries on Friday.
At the Accor Arena, Adjoudj (8-1) opened the card strongly by scoring Bruno Fontes with a smooth right hook. The shot knocked Fontes (6-1) down, who did a back somersault. After a few punches, the referee called off the fight at 1:11 of the second round.
With the win, Adjoudj moves to 6-1 under the Bellator banner and has now won six fights in a row. In his Bellator debut, Fontes lost for the first time as a professional.
