UFC star Sean O’Malley revealed that his home was recently raided by police.

The 29-year-old current UFC bantamweight champion was shocked to find heavily armed police swarming outside his home while he was live-streaming.

O’Malley explained in The TimboSugar Show that during a broadcast on a Saturday afternoon, he was the victim of a slap.

This is a prank where someone calls 911 to report a fake emergency, with the goal of leading SWAT teams to a streamer’s home.

In O’Malley’s case, while broadcasting, he saw a police car speeding past his house.

Shortly thereafter, on the intercom of his home, O’Malley encountered a police officer telling him to leave the house with his hands up.

In footage from O’Malley’s security camera, armed police officers could be seen outside his door, and one of them appeared to break his camera.

Later, O’Malley could be seen walking outside with his hands up.

“I had shotguns pointed at me, like ARs from four different police officers pointing at me, and I was like, ‘I’m just going to listen,’ and come back,” he recalled.

On the podcast, he explained that he was handcuffed and escorted to the police car, where he sat for 35-40 minutes.

Finally, police officers who knew O’Malley arrived, explaining to him that they had received a frightening tip that led them to his home.

“They said I killed my parents or something like that,” he said.

“Yeah, they thought there was an active shooter in there, they said, ‘Who’s in there?’ I was like, ‘No, I was just playing.'”

O’Malley further noted that police were unable to find the person who called in the false report.

After the dust settled, O’Malley indulged in pizza that night, saying he “deserved it, I celebrated.”

O’Malley has an 18-1 record since his UFC debut in 2015.

In August 2023, he won the bantamweight title via knockout against Aljamain Sterling.

Fast forward to March 2024, O’Malley successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision victory against Marlon Vera.

He revealed later that month your podcast that his next competitor would be Merab Dvalishvili.

“Merab is next,” he said. “Merab is next. His wish was granted.”

However, as things stand, there is no official date for O’Malley vs Dvalishvili.
