Belal Muhammad did not mince his words when asked about Sean Strickland.

Strickland has commented about Palestine’s ongoing conflict with Israel numerous times, even aiming at Muhammadwho is of Palestinian descent.

Muhammad is angered by former middleweight champion Strickland’s opinion on the matter, calling it a cry for attention. Muhammad says he noticed Strickland commenting on Palestine years ago.

“Honestly, I didn’t care about him at all until I posted something about Palestine and that was literally three years ago,” Muhammad said on Twitter. Legacy of monetary loyalty podcast. “The same thing: they were being bombed and he only commented there when it had nothing to do with him because he likes to just stick his nose into things and attract attention. And he said something like, ‘They need to just give up. They’ll end up losing anyway, they just need to bend the knee.’ It was the stupidest statement ever.

“But he did it just to get attention, to get a comment from me. Someone like that sitting there, laughing at people’s deaths or joking about it, it just shows what kind of person he is. He’s like a piece of trash.

“Recently, he was crying to Theo Von about his dad and, ‘You can’t talk about my dad. Don’t mention family. That’s dirty when you do that. You’re literally talking about kids who just got bombed, kids who are dying, and you’re making fun of it, but when it comes to you, it shows he has a fake, tough-guy mentality.”

Muhammad (23-3 MMA, 14-3 UFC) reacts with welterweight champion Leon Edwards (21-3 MMA, 13-2 UFC) in the main fight of UFC 304, July 27, at Co-op Live in Manchester, England.
