UFC 304: Kiefer Crosbie to face Sam Patterson on stacked Manchester card headlined by Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad

The UFC has a tasty third welterweight clash in store for its return to the UK.

MMA’s premier promotion will return to these shores for a second pay-per-view card in two years on July 27th.

UFC 304 is expected to feature some of the UK and Ireland’s best promotional talent.

And the Emerald Isle should have another representative in the pile of cards.

Multiple sources have informed SunSport that Irishman Kiefer Crosbie will make his second appearance in the Octagon on the Manchester card.

Crosbie’s dance partner tonight will be England and Sam Patterson of Team Crossface.

Crosbie – longtime training partner of UFC legend Conor McGregor – made an Octagon debut against Kevin Jousset last September.

‘Big Daddy’ fell short in this contest, which he lost via submission in the first round.

He was due to return against Themba Gorimbo in February but was forced to withdraw from the clash due to injury.

Patterson, meanwhile, is flying high after claiming his first promotion win in sensational fashion in January.

‘O Future‘ bounced back from his loss to Yanal Ashmouz last March with a first-round submission over Octagon veteran Yohan Lainesse.

UFC 304 takes place at Manchester’s brand new stadium Cooperative Live Arena – the largest indoor arena in Europe.

A welterweight title fight between champion Leon Edwards and emerging Belal Muhammad leads the bill.

And a rematch between Tom Aspinall and Curtis, in which the former will defend his interim heavyweight title, will serve as the morning’s co-main event.
