Justin Gaethje is starting to fight again after his unforgettable knockout defeat to Max Holloway in the UFC 300.
Gaethje (25-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC) lost the BMF title to Holloway with a knockout finish at the historic April 13 event in Las Vegas, and it was the kind of finish that can change a combat sports athlete’s livelihood long-term if not properly nourished afterward.
This reality has already been recognized by Gaethje, who said shortly after UFC 300 that he did not intend to do any type of full contact training. for at least six months after the significant damage suffered. With six weeks of recovery logged, Gaethje said Monday that she returned to the gym with the intention of “trying to get back into a routine.”
