Darren even is keeping an eye on Jake Paulo if he is successful in his boxing debut.
Till meets former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (53-6-1, 1 NC) in a six-round, 190-pound fight on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event, headlined by Paul vs. Mike Tyson, is broadcast live on Netflix.
Paul (9-1), who faces Tyson (50-6) in an eight-round professional boxing match, is open to facing the winner of Till vs. Chavez Jr.
“Man, they just need to make a statement,” said Paul The Schmo. “A knockout, win over the crowd and do it so well that I see their skill and I’m impressed with them and I want to make a great fight with them happen.”
Upon hearing Paul mention the possibility of fighting him, Till devised a plan to get the attention of the “Trouble Child” if they both emerged victorious. Paul already holds victories over former UFC fighters Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz.
“When I win, when I knock out Chavez Jr., I’m going to get on the mic or something and watch Jake fight and I’ll be right there in the middle,” Till said. “I’m going to hold him for this fight now. Fuck him fighting Tommy (Fury), fuck him fighting anyone else, all that McGregor – I’m the same size as him, so we’ll see. Most likely (jumping into the ring) after the winner with a beer, just walking in. I’ll probably do that.”
