Jake PauloThe biggest boxing fight of his career has fallen through – at least for now – and the YouTube star is understandably upset about it.

On Friday, MVP promotions announced that Paul’s mega boxing match against Mike Tyson had to be postponed due to Tyson’s health issues. Although they intend to reschedule the fight for later this year at the same venue, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Paul can’t help but feel disheartened about not getting the fight on July 20th.

“Obviously, this is devastating news,” Paul said in a video posted on X. “I’m heartbroken. I’m speechless, devastated. We’ve been working hard here, everyone in this camp. I just feel bad for everyone involved in this event, for the entire tie. This was an opportunity snatched from us all.

“I value Mike’s health first. I love this guy and have a lot of respect for him. I want Mike to be healthy. He says he’s still going to knock me out, and I’ve bought myself some time, so Mike is still full of shit. Mike, if you still want to do this like you said behind the scenes, thank you. You just need a little time, so I’ll be ready when you are. This is a very big opportunity. I think this fight will change the world.”

According to MVP promotions, the new fight date will be announced on June 7th. The fight, which would be broadcast live on Netflix, was scheduled for eight two-minute rounds and would be sanctioned as a completely professional fight.
