UFC fans fear the worst after a press conference with Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler was postponed.
The duo is just over three weeks away from trading heavy leather in the main fight of UFC 303, in Las Vegas.
The two men, aged 35 and 37 respectively, were due to take part in a press conference to promote the fight in Dublin on Monday night.
But the main MMA promotion POSTPONED the event earlier this morning.
They wrote on social media: “The #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday, June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at the 3Arena has been postponed until further notice.
“We sincerely apologize to all fans who planned to attend.
“When we have more information about a new date and time, we will share it immediately. – Thank you.”
And the last-minute cancellation left some fans worried that the fight itself was in jeopardy.
One wrote on X: “The fight will be cancelled.”
Another said: “Conor vs Chandler will never happen.”

And another said: “The fights are going to be cancelled, aren’t they?”
One commented: “Knew this was all too good to be true man.”
Another added: “The UFC may seriously live to regret not stacking the rest of the deck.”
One baffled fight fan said: “Until the lights dim and Foggy Dew/Hypnotize plays in the arena, I refuse to believe this fight is happening.”
Another frustrated MMA watcher said: “The fight is 100% canceled too haha.”
Neither McGregor, Chandler or UFC big man Dana White have publicly commented on the postponement of the event.
Former two-division champion McGregor hasn’t set foot in the Octagon since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier almost three years ago.
