McGregor and Chandler were due to speak to the media last night in the Irishman’s hometown of Dublin.

But at 5am that morning, the press conference was shockingly canceled as the UFC apologized to fans.

They said they hope to provide a “new date and time” as soon as possible.

McGregor broke his silence on the news, but did not reveal why the press conference was interrupted.

He said: “In consultation with the UFC, today’s press conference has been canceled due to a number of obstacles beyond our control.

“I apologize to my Irish fans and fans around the world for the inconvenience and thank you for all your passion and support.

“I can’t wait to put on the biggest show ever in the Octagon.”

McGregor, who has not fought since losing to Dustin Poirier three years ago, has been regularly seen partying ahead of his comeback clash.
