Good luck finding a 13-second snippet more bizarre and chaotic than the retired strongman ending Eddie SalonThe 2 on 1 fight on Friday.
At an aptly named World Freak Fight League event in the United Kingdom, Hall topped the bill with a fight against Jamil and Jamel Neffati, known as “The Neffati Brothers.”
The Neffati brothers got off to a lackluster but strategically efficient start when they decided to fight Hall with long shots. Each brother stood at a different angle as they kicked Hall.
As the clock ticked down, the crowd grew more restless. But with less than a minute left, everything changed when the brothers shot for the takedown. Hall elevated a brother and threw him away. The fighter took a serious look before falling backwards onto the canvas. Hall then pushed the second fighter away before he delivered a ridiculously timed counterattack on the downed brother who had just gotten back to his feet. The impact sent the unluckier of the two brothers face down, with his face buried in the screen. This is how the fight ended.
After the victory, Hall called for a fight against KSW star and former strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski, a fighter with a professional record of 17-9.
Hall, 36, has not competed in combat sports since making his boxing debut in an exhibition bout against “Game of Thrones” star and fellow strongman Thor Bjornsson (aka “The Mountain”) in March 2022.
