The UFC has dropped its biggest suggestion that Conor McGregor’s return WILL go as planned.
Fears that the long-awaited Return of the Mac comeback was in tatters were heightened last week following the cancellation of a pre-fight press conference in Dublin.
There were many conspiracy theories after the UFC 303 presser was fired, with unsubstantiated claims that McGregor had suffered an injury that spread like wildfire.
The UFC has yet to comment on the fight’s progress, although a recent social media post from MMA’s top promotion suggests it’s business as usual.
On Sunday morning, the UFC shared an exciting trailer to promote its latest pay-per-view card on its X and Instagram pages.
And there was apparently a collective sigh of relief from fight fans following the release of the exciting promo.
One commented: “Exactly what I wanted to see.”
Another said: “UFC 303 IS BACK, LETS GO.”
And another said: “Now it’s official.”
One commented: “Mystic Mac is back baby.”

Another added: “If you thought Conor was going to quit, you’re a new fan of school casual.
“Guy never gave up once, and I don’t think he ever would.”
One relieved mixed martial arts fan commented along with a fire emoji: “It’s not going to be cancelled.”
And another said: “Surprise, surprise. The king is back!”
McGregor, 35, has not set foot in the Octagon since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
The Irishman will be welcomed back to the cage by fellow fan favorite Michael Chandler on June 29th in the main fight of UFC 303 in Las Vegas.
And he plans to get back into the win column with an emphatic knockout to the head of the former three-time Bellator lightweight champion.
In a recent interview with James Corden, he said: “I’m the Terminator now.
“I have a titanium rod that goes up to my knee and down to the bone, down to my ankle.
“It’s unbreakable.
“I want and will work to land that kick – with that steel bar on the leg – against an opponent and get them out of there.”
