Gilberto Burns he thinks Conor McGregor is playing mind games to make people think his fight at UFC 303 is in danger.

McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) is set to meet Michael Chandler (23-8 MMA, 2-3 UFC) in the June 29 headliner at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. However, several factors have left many skeptical as to whether McGregor has suffered an injury and is out of the fight.

McGregor posted and then deleted one old video on your Instagram story which suggested a possible injury, causing even more speculation. However, Chandler’s Kill Cliff FC teammate Burns is convinced the fight is still on. He thinks McGregor is imitating Ryan Garciain antics before his fight with Devin Haneywhere people thought he wasn’t mentally fit to compete.

“The press conference was supposed to happen two weeks ago and it was crazy,” Burns said in his Youtube channel. “I think, in my opinion, Conor McGregor is pulling the Ryan Garcia card – you know, trying to act a little crazy. We saw a photo of this guy in the hospital.

“I think that if he had some kind of injury and was in the hospital, the guy certainly won’t post anything that he’s in the hospital enjoying. I think he’s bluffing. I think he’s good. The fight will happen and just make people think too much, maybe play with the odds like Ryan Garcia did. But I think the fight is on. I think he’s ready. I think it will be a good fight.”

The UFC announced that it had “postponed” the UFC 303 pre-fight press conference featuring McGregor and Chandler about 12 hours before June 3 in Dublin. However, with UFC 303 just 16 days away, no official word has been given on the status of the fight.
