ISRAEL ADESANYA has issued a chilling warning for the middleweight division ahead of his return to the UFC.
The former two-time champion has not entered the Octagon since the sensational loss of the belt to Sean Strickland last September.
The Nigerian-born New Zealander will attempt to become a three-time champion on August 17th in a fight against champion Dricus Du Plessis in the main event of UFC 305 in Perth, Australia.
And The Last Stylebender warned DDP and the rest of the division with a chilling promise.
Adesanya released a promotional video to promote his long-awaited return on Tuesday, which began with the text: “Don’t be afraid, be terrified.”
The final moments of the video included an audio segment from the 1983 Hollywood blockbuster ‘Scarface,’ in which Tony Montana defends himself from an armed attack on his Miami home.
“Do you think you can take me?” roared actor Al Pacino. “You need shit army if you will take me.
“Did you hear? I’m going to take you all to fucking hell.”
Adesanya’s somber message came just days after he revealed that taking the “heads” of his rivals is what motivates him at this stage of his MMA career.
He said, “I got belts, I don’t need no more belts. I’m coming for the face.”

The preparation for Du Plessis x Adesanya will be one of the most delicious in recent UFC history.
The disagreement between the two began last March, when Du Plessis declared himself “the UFC’s African fighter”.
The South African made the statement because he still lives and trains on the continent.
Adesanya disagreed with Du Plessis’ suggestion that neither of the belts won by himself, Kamaru Usman or Francis Ngannou, returned to Africa.
An excited Adesanya responded by promising to drag Du Plessis’ carcass around South Africa before a violent, expletive-filled showdown last July following the former KSW and EFC champion’s shock victory over Robert Whittaker.
Du Plessis insists he meant no harm in his comments and is adamant he did not attempt to claim that Adesanya, Usman or Ngannou are less African than him.
