CONOR MCGREGOR’s long-awaited return clash with Michael Chandler has been finalized for UFC 303.
The pair’s long-awaited showdown was set last February when the promotion pitted the two against each other as rival Ultimate Fighter 31 coaches.
McGregor’s absence from the USADA testing group, however, delayed the fight.
And when he returned to the pool in October, the promotion chose to delay Mac’s Return until 2024.
Who apparently married perfectly for the Irish to make his long-awaited return this weekend at UFC 300.
UFC supreme Dana White, however, decided not to have the Dubliner at the top the bill of the historical card.
But McGregor and Chandler will take center stage at UFC 303 on June 29, which was announced following the UFC 300 post-fight press conference.
Former two-division champion McGregor, 35, has not set foot in the Octagon since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier almost three years ago.
But he has been eager to return to the Octagon since completing his meticulous rehabilitation.
He said last October: “I was barred from living almost three years ago.

“Understand that. I’m over what I went through. I’m sitting on an injury and a defeat.
“Did you hear what Alexander Volkanovski said? I relate. I must return to my way of life.
“This is my job. It’s very frustrating. … I just want the date. Give me the date, please. That’s it.”
McGregor hasn’t tasted victory in almost FOUR AND A HALF YEARS and plans to get back to winning ways with a brutal head-kick knockout with his new steel-reinforced limb.
Mystic Mac said, “I’m going to kick this guy in the head. It’s tailor-made to be kicked everywhere.
“And that’s what I intend, I intend to wrap this steel bar around my opponent.
“And you’ll see the image of the hanging leg, and then you’ll see the image of the hanging head.”
