Robert Whittaker was the star of the UFC’s debut event in Saudi Arabia, emerging on top in Saturday’s main fight UFC on ABC 6.
Former UFC middleweight champion Whittaker (26-7 MMA, 17-5 UFC) produced his fastest finish in over nine years when he stopped last-minute replacement Ikram Aliskerov (15-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) less than two minutes after the start. the opening round at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
After the victory, Whittaker called himself the “bogeyman” of the 185-pound division and made it clear that he is looking for the belt he lost almost six years ago.
