MMA fans at T-Mobile Arena and those watching at home were treated to two viral knockouts from Max Holloway – who knocked out Justin Gaethje with ONE SECOND left of the fight – and Alex Pereira.

But there were many events that the TV cameras did not show to the millions of fans at home.

But luckily for you, SunSport were live at the scene and on hand to capture the moments the TV cameras didn’t.

Israel Adesanya and Dricus Du Plessis near miss

Israel Adesanya surprised the fans present by watching all the fights on the historic card, which lasted almost eight hours.

This wasn’t surprising given how stacked the cards were. But what was surprising was the fact that the UFC sat him so close to rival Dricus Du Plessis.

SunSport noticed the newly crowned middleweight champion was about seven or eight seats away from The Last Stylebender, who he approached while wandering around the VIP area to speak to other fighters.

However, unlike the last time he was in Las Vegas, Du Plessis did not get into fights with his future adversary.

SunSport’s Chisanga Malata recaps the big talking points from UFC 300 in Las Vegas

But the Meta mogul didn’t make a grand entrance into the T-Mobile Arena, instead making a subdued arrival for the first qualifiers.

He enjoyed a handshake and brief conversation with UFC president Dana White before the main card.

Maybe they were talking about how his MMA training is going and if he still has the desire to fight Elon Musk.

Charles Oliveira’s worried girlfriend

Former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira faced Arman Tsarukyan in a crucial fight for progression in the division.

‘Do Bronx’ was applauded by his girlfriend Vitoria Brum, who had one of the best seats in the house next to the media section.

Brum was emotional before the fight began, fighting back tears as her other half prepared for battle. And she was visibly upset during several stages of the fight.

Oliveira, however, consoled her by going backstage after suffering a decision loss to Armenian-Russian Tsarukyan.

The long look of Ilia Topuria

Featherweight king Ilia Topuria was one of several champions present at UFC 300, with the Georgian Spaniard having one of the best seats in the house.

Topuria had a keen interest in the BMF title fight between Holloway and Gaethje, the former of whom ruled the division he presides over.

And ‘El Matador’ – whose reaction to the brutal ending went viral – made up the majority of the duo’s incredible showdown.

He proudly paraded along with his camera crew while wearing a vest to show off his ridiculously large arms and chest.

Several fans behind the expensive seats wanted selfies with the muscle machine, which happily obliged.
