The long-awaited tie-up – which was first announced last February – collapsed due to injury to the Irishman.
But there’s no need to panic, UFC fans, as the NEW date has been revealed and it’s closer than you think.
The pair will face each other on Saturday, September 17, at UFC 305, in Las Vegas.
At UFC 303, we will see Alex Pereira face Jiri Prochazka in a highly anticipated rematch.
The pair will compete for the UFC light heavyweight title after Pereira knocked out Prochazka at UFC 295 to win the vacant title.

- The card is scheduled to begin at 12pm BST, with the main event set to begin at 5am.
