PAIGE VANZANT starred in her Power Slap debut by defeating her opponent twice.
The former UFC fighter scored her first combat sports victory since 2019.
VanZant, 30, scored two knockdowns before her game-winning slap against Christine Wolmarans on Friday.
She knocked her rival down with her second and third slaps during their three-round clash at Power Slap 8.
Wolmarans managed to continue and responded with tries of their own.
However, VanZant was able to withstand the slaps as he barely appeared to be hurt.
This was the case with Wolmarans’ fourth slap, which she received after VanZant faltered in the third round.
At the end of the match, VanZant was named the winner as all three judges scored the match 30-25 for her.
After the fight, VanZant insisted he was happy with his debut.
She said: “Honestly, it was absolutely amazing.

“Of course, I wanted to knock her out with the first slap, but I’m really glad it happened the way it did.
“I knew I could get punched, I knew I could get slapped. That was a lot of fun.”
She was also asked about participating in the competition again.
And Vanzant was clear on her ambitions when she added: “This is too much fun to give up.”
