The UFC’s return to Australia in August continues to grow with the addition of two new fights.

Australia’s own Junior Tafa (5-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) is ready to face Walter Walker (11-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at heavyweight. And in the featherweight division, Australia’s Josh Culibão (11-3-1 MMA, 3-3-1 UFC) face each other Ricardo Ramos (16-6 MMA, 7-5 UFC). UFC officials announced the new reservations on Sunday night.

UFC 305 is set for August 17 at the RAC Arena in Perth (pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+).

Tafa will be looking to get back into the win column after a second-round TKO loss to Marcos Rogério de Lima at UFC 298 in February. Walker, from Brazil, also needs a recovery. After an 11-0 start to his MMA career, Walker made his debut with the promotion in April, but lost a decision to Lukasz Brzeski.

Culibao is overcoming consecutive losses for the first time in his career. Almost a year ago, he lost a decision to Lerone Murphy. In March, he dropped a split call to Danny Silva. Ramos also has consecutive setbacks – but both were finished with a guillotine choke in the first round. Charles Jourdain signed him last September, and Julian Erosa signed him in March.

The latest UFC 305 schedule now includes:

  • Champion Dricus Du Plessis x Israel Adesanya – for the middleweight title

  • Steve Erceg x Kai Kara-France

  • Jairzinho Rozenstruik x Tai Tuivasa z

  • Josh Culibão x Ricardo Ramos

  • Tom Nolan x Alex Reyes

  • Tereza Bleda x Casey O’Neill

  • Justin Tafa x Walter Walker
